Owl Musician Stool

The Owl Musician Stool is an adaptation of our original design, built for the specific demands of playing an instrument. At 20" in height, it accommodates a natural playing posture: one foot resting on the stretcher, the other on the ground for keeping time. The Pro seat's rounded front corners allow greater lateral leg mobility, so your body can move with the music rather than against it.

The cherry seat is hand-sanded and tung oil-finished, shaped with the same patented postural support design that defines every Owl Stool. Ash legs provide stability and quiet durability. Whether you play for hours or a lifetime, this stool is built to stay with you.

Wood Materials Proper care ensures a lifetime of use from your furniture. Should your piece fail during the life of the original owner due to workmanship on wood materials, we will gladly repair or replace it. Some special-order wood species may be excluded. This guarantee does not apply to improper use, accidents, normal wear and tear, alteration, improper cleaning, or commercial use. There is a BIFMA-tested 300 lb weight limit.

Improper Use The Owl Stool is designed to encourage healthy sitting postures, as demonstrated. Habitual tipping back on the lumbar support, or sitting off-center in the postural support holes, can strain the bolt connections that hold the seat to the base. If the threaded inserts are ripped from the wood grain at this connection point, it is considered improper use and falls outside our warranty coverage. We're glad to repair the damage at our cost, plus shipping—please reach out before sending your stool back to us.

The Owl Musician Stool is made to order with current lead times of 16–20 weeks.

If your product arrives damaged, please notify us right away and provide pictures of the stool and box as they arrived. These photos are essential to our insurance process with UPS. Please keep all original parts and packaging together until you hear from us.

We stand behind our craftsmanship and wood materials for five years to the original owner. Because wood responds differently across environments over time, any issues that arise after five years will be addressed gladly at a slight cost.
