Our Story

From a Single Stool to a Lasting Legacy

The Owl Stool was designed and handcrafted by Geoff Warner in Stonington, Maine—a maker whose studies at the Rhode Island School of Design drew on Scandinavian and Eastern influences to shape something entirely his own. We continue the legacy of care and craftsmanship he embodied in the design of the Owl Stool. 

From that small coastal woodworking studio, our product took shape. It remains hand-sanded, joined, and assembled by skilled woodworking manufacturers here in Maine. 

In 2025, the company was purchased by Mike Morrone, who was drawn to the same qualities that define the product: an appreciation for craftsmanship, honest materials, and furniture built to last. He carries the work forward with the same intention it began with.
